So, what makes "us" different?
In creating Corfu Direct we set about designing a holiday accommodation service that would offer the very best value, and we did this by entering directly into a 'local partnership' with Corfu apartment and hotel owners, who, in turn, have rewarded our efforts by offering us their keenest prices. Prices that we pass directly on to you.
Then, we looked at other ways we could improve your holiday experience, and one major issue that kept coming up was that, once you have arrived in Corfu, you want to go directly to your resort and not spend up to 5 hours on a coach getting there.
In fact, you could spend nearly half-a-day of your hard-earned holiday just getting to and from the airport. We think that time is better spent lying on the beach or enjoying a relaxed drink, not sitting on a packed coach as it takes you half way round the island, dropping off or picking up passengers who have booked for other resorts. We, therefore, arrange to take you directly to your resort, saving up to 4 hours each way.

Next, we set about ensuring that when you get to your holiday destination you will have the support of the most knowledgeable people available, not 'green behind the ears' representatives who would possibly spend a good deal of your time trying to persuade you to attend meetings, then try to sell you expensive excursions. In travelling to Corfu for over 30 years, we think we know that this is only what very few of you want.
Most travellers to this region do so because they want to relax or explore the island in their own time and in their own way. So, instead of representatives we have partnered with 'local travel agents' offering a combined experience totalling several decades of expertise.
For those who enjoy organized excursions, we believe our local agents are the best people to organise them. We make no commission from excursions, so you go only on the trips you choose and pay the 'local' rate.

So, how does Corfu Direct get paid?
Keep it simple.

We operate our business as a partnership arrangement with our local property providers in Corfu, and are paid a commission, by them, on all the holiday bookings processed through Corfu Direct. The rates Corfu Direct charges are the same rates you would pay if you booked directly with our partners.
In other words, we provide our partners with our internet expertise in the form of a global booking system and are paid a commission on every booking we secure for them. They gain our expertise for a small fee, and effectively you are charged nothing by us for this service. In this way we aim to help you to keep your holiday costs to a minimum, plus provide a superior service.
It really is as simple as that!
Cutting out the middle-man
When you travel on a package holiday you may think you are getting the best deal, but by booking direct you can do even better. On package deals you pay for everything, your flight, your accommodation and your transfers. Then, on top of everything you are also covering the cost of commissions to a third-party travel agent, the profit made on your air ticket from a charter airline, the cost of your transfer plus the level of profit made by your tour operator. In fact you actually pay for everything, and then some!
One of the reasons that DIY holidays are becoming increasingly popular is that by buying all these elements separately, you do have to make a little more effort, but you can save a considerable amount, plus tailor your holiday to your exact requirements.
What you have done is to simply cut out the middle-man and save all the commissions they will have earned.
